Gail works at the Craft Centre having spent years working in craft shops, and now is offering her Tim Holz classes, which are inspired by meeting the man himself and spending 3 hours at his workshop in Holland.
|
| SAT 25TH FEB 10.30-1PM Gail takes you through the various Tim Holz techniques with Distress ink pads going from the simplest use to the more intricate. She helps you produce a small sample book and gives you pre-printed stickers for the back of each page to act as a reference for the future. Please bring any Tim Holz distress ink pads that you have. She will also open up her box of Alchohol inks so that you can have a 'play', making amazing colours on embossed foil. Please bring heat tool if you have one. |
WED 21ST MAR 10.30-1PM Another of Gail's Tim Holz classes which cover different techniques from the ones above, so please come to this one as well as the earlier one. Please bring any Tim Holz distress pads or alchohol inks and heat tool if you have one.

SCRAPBOOKING CLUB Gail runs the scrapbooking club which runs every Thur, come along with any project you are working on and get inspiration from others. If you are new to scrapbooking, bring some photos and she will get you started. Gail will let you use our wonderful Cricut cutting machine, so no need to spend hours cutting out shapes. Letters are easy on the Cricut and you can be inspired by the images that you can produce with ease for your pages. PATCHWORK CLASS Gail holds a poular patchwork class monthly which is either for beginners or improvers. Bring your fabric to your class which needs to be 3 x fat quarters, one light, one dark and one medium in tone. This is hand stitching in the class, but you can machine stitch it at home. Gail teaches you different techniques for each panel to end up with a beautiful quilt, or cushion cover/wall hanging. Either come every month or when you can.
|
LEARN TO ENJOY YOUR SEWING MACHINE Gail will spend an hour with you and your machine, (please bring in the machine half an hour earlier so that she can familiarise herself with it) and by the end you should be happy with all the features, bobbin, tension, stitch length and more... please book for a one-to-one lesson (any day except Tuesdays)

You will end up with 3 lovely cushions from merino wool (not supplied but available to buy for 10% under RRP) and will be helped to sew the cushion together.
